You might have a list of things in your head you want to present about yourself, and you might want to come across as confident. But whatever you do, don’t speak over the person interviewing you.
Of course, the focus is one you. You have to sell yourself and that’s what it;s all about. But what this point is referring to is more about not concentrating on the “what’s in it for me” type of thing, like salary, benefits, etc. Yes, those are legitimate questions, but perhaps first you could ask questions which concern how you could be of benefit to them.
